Mercedes-AMG has shown the cabin of the 2027 GT 4-Door EV. Screens dominate, as you’d expect, but AMG didn’t hand everything over to glass. A good number of physical knobs and buttons survive.
That matters more than it sounds. Fast cars need controls you can find by feel, and AMG seems to know it.
The most interesting hardware is a cluster of three dials for a system Mercedes calls Race Engineer. It adjusts how the car responds to the driver and how it delivers power and feedback when the road gets fun. In short, AMG is turning setup choices into hands-on controls instead of burying them in menus.

A new configuration menu also lets drivers remove the drive modes they never use from the selector. It’s a small change, but it cuts the clutter of cycling past settings you don’t want. More automakers should copy it.
Not everything feels bespoke. The shift lever comes straight from the new CLA EV, which looks out of place in a flagship performance sedan.
The standard sport seats are the least sporty-looking part of the cabin. Buyers who want something more aggressive will likely look to the options list. Pricing, performance figures, and launch timing have not been confirmed.
