Chrysler just reminded the world it still exists. The brand dropped teaser images of the 2027 Pacifica on its social media channels, and the refreshed minivan looks like it raided Cadillac’s design playbook on the way to the photo shoot.
Let’s be real, Chrysler has been on life support. After the 300 sedan was killed off following 2023, the brand was left selling exactly one vehicle. Two if you count the Voyager, which is basically a stripped-down Pacifica wearing a different name tag, so any sign of a pulse from this once-proud American marque is worth paying attention to.
The front end is where all the action is. Gone are the smooth, horizontally oriented headlights and the soft oval grille that defined the current Pacifica. In their place sit aggressive, vertically oriented boomerang-shaped light units that cascade down the edges of the front fascia and connect with a trim piece at the bottom.
Those headlights hook inward at the top, linking up with a full-width light bar that spans the narrow upper grille. It’s sharp, it’s modern, and it’s a serious departure from the friendly face the Pacifica has worn for years. The two-piece grille design features a slim upper section and a larger lower opening filled with an ornate pattern of small chrome dashes.

But the real story might be the badge sitting dead center in that light bar. This is the first production Chrysler to wear the brand’s updated wing logo, which debuted on the Halcyon concept back in 2024. The new emblem simplifies the classic Chrysler wings into two trapezoidal, interlocking lines. It’s illuminated and integrated into the light bar, giving the van a distinctive signature at night.
Chrysler kept the teaser cryptic, captioning its Instagram post with nothing more than “Some things refuse to stay undercover.” The overall body shape remains unchanged, and we haven’t seen the rear end yet. A chrome strip running along the side and a “Pinnacle” badge confirm the teaser car is wearing the top-tier trim.
Details on the interior and powertrain are still under wraps, but expect a modernized cabin with larger screens. The 3.6-liter V-6 should carry over as the primary powertrain, though the future of electrified Pacifica models is murky at best. Stellantis axed all of its traditional plug-in hybrid models back in January, which killed the Pacifica Hybrid and its V-6-plus-dual-motor setup.
Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell previously mentioned an electric Pacifica arriving after the refreshed gas model, and there were rumblings about an updated plug-in hybrid. Those plans could easily have shifted given the current corporate chaos at Stellantis.

The timing matters here. The minivan segment has been slowly shrinking for years, with Toyota’s Sienna and the Kia Carnival serving as the Pacifica’s primary competition. Honda discontinued the Odyssey’s hybrid option, and no manufacturer seems eager to pour resources into the family hauler space. Yet Chrysler is doubling down on the one product it has left, which is either a sign of commitment or a brand with no other cards to play.
Either way, the refreshed Pacifica should arrive as a 2027 model, with full details expected in the coming months. For a brand that’s been dangerously quiet, this is at least proof that someone at Stellantis headquarters still remembers Chrysler’s name. Whether a sharper face and a new logo are enough to keep the brand relevant is another question entirely.
