BMW Welt New Design 2025
BMW Welt has reopened after a major renovation, offering visitors an upgraded experience with cutting-edge technology and a redesigned interior. Alongside the updated space, BMW introduces the BMW Welt App, set to launch at the end of February. This new app transforms the visitor experience with AI-powered assistance, interactive digital tours, and QR code vehicle scanning for 360-degree digital models.
Visitors can navigate through the building at their own pace with a virtual guide covering 16 stations, providing detailed insights about BMW’s latest innovations. The app also features gamification elements such as quizzes and scavenger hunts.

Sandra Wittemer, Head of BMW Welt, highlighted the app’s role in enhancing engagement by offering in-depth vehicle details and special features like discounts on shopping, dining, and car rentals. Visitors can also enjoy the MINI Arcade, making the entire experience more interactive and entertaining.
BMW Welt’s new interior design brings a fresh atmosphere, with modernized exhibition spaces and a revamped M Clubhouse. This area blends the feel of a luxurious lounge with a high-performance BMW M garage. The space now features a custom BMW M5, designed by artist Fillin Guas, and a sound installation recreating the legendary Nürburgring roar.

Entertainment options have expanded for all ages. Families can enjoy interactive games like UNO Car Party via AirConsole. For a limited time, visitors can spot a classic BMW Isetta cruising through BMW Welt, distributing free gingerbread hearts.
Several events are lined up for the upcoming months. The BMW Welt Yoga Program returns on February 22, followed by a children’s music theater show on March 2. Music lovers can look forward to the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra’s special children’s concert on April 27, themed around automotive sounds. Later in the year, the BMW Welt Campus will introduce an interactive 3D road safety experience for kids, helping them learn traffic rules in a digital environment.
