Dodge is making waves by expanding its Charger lineup to international markets, offering both gas-powered and electric models to Europe and the Middle East next year.

The Move Into New Territories

Muscle car enthusiasts in Europe and the Middle East are set to enjoy Dodge’s exciting new lineup of Chargers starting in late 2025. This marks Dodge’s significant push into global markets, following the brand’s recent shift toward electric vehicles and the controversial retirement of the Challenger and HEMI V8 engines.

A Stellantis spokesperson confirmed, “The Dodge Charger will also be sold in the Middle East starting from the second half of 2025. Europe will follow the same timeline through importer networks.”

This bold step allows Dodge to test international waters while appealing to a broader audience with both internal combustion (ICE) and battery-electric (BEV) variants.

What’s On Offer: Electrifying Performance

The Dodge Charger Daytona BEV will lead the charge, showcasing its cutting-edge electric powertrain. The Daytona offers two configurations:

  • Base Model: Dual motors generating 456 hp and 404 lb-ft (547 Nm) of torque, supported by a 100.5 kWh battery pack.
  • Daytona Scat Pack: A high-performance version delivering an impressive 630 hp and 627 lb-ft (849 Nm). This muscle-packed coupe rockets from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds.

Dodge’s electric shift isn’t just about power; it’s also about redefining the muscle car image for a sustainable future.

Classic ICE Power Lives On

Despite the increased focus on electric vehicles, Dodge hasn’t forgotten its roots. Gasoline enthusiasts can look forward to ICE variants of both the Charger coupe and sedan in the coming years.

These models are powered by Dodge’s Hurricane 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine, which offers two levels of performance:

Hurricane Powertrain
Horsepower
Torque
Standard-Output
420 hp
470 lb-ft (637 Nm)
High-Output
550 hp
550 lb-ft (746 Nm)

The Hurricane engines bring thrilling performance, ensuring Dodge fans can still enjoy the visceral roar of combustion.

However, Dodge confirmed no manual transmission will be available. Instead, both ICE versions will feature the advanced 880RE 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the older TorqueFlite 8HP70 unit.

Dodge’s US Launch Is Gaining Momentum

In the American market, Dodge has already introduced the two-door Charger Daytona BEV and is preparing the arrival of ICE configurations. Reports suggest the Four-Door Charger Sixpack could hit US dealerships as early as 2025. This quicker timeline may be tied to increasing pressure from dealers and changing leadership dynamics within Stellantis.
